Eléments filtrants Hy Pro

Innovative treatment processes for fuels and future injection systems

Engines using HDI, Common Rail or Common Rail Direct Injection technologies are very sensitive to contamination. Whether solid, water based or bacteriol, this contamination can cause wear then broken diesel injectors and high pressure pumps. Hy-Pro filtration systems remove this contamination quickly and efficiently.

DECONTAMINATION AND PREVENTION

There are 3 types of diesel related contamination which can be introduced at any step of the supply chain. To protect your systems and your components, priority must be given to remove these contaminants before they enter your system otherwise there is a risk of exposing diesel injectors, diesel pumps, and each components to catastrophic wear and premature failure.

Pollution poussières et particules

Dust and particles

Today, Ultra fine particles transferred at very high pressures can be the root cause of broken injectors and pumps, component wear and the loss of efficiency in the entire system.

It results in a chain reaction where the contamination present creates another reaction through recirculation in the systems, the ISO codes increases, leading to the deterioration of the system components.

Pollution eau dans les carburants

Water

Since all diesels contain water to some extent, it is crucial to prevent free water from reaching new fuel systems as recommended by manufacturers and prevent direct or indirect damage caused by water.

The contamination of water by diesel fuels leads to accelerated microbial growth and contributes to the failure of combustion engines and the energy efficiency loss. It can also cause the formation of rust, corrosion of components and abrasion, scratches, cavitation and can even freeze when cold.

Pollution microbienne

Microbial

With the free water present in diesel fuels, microbial organists develop to form sticky sludge and sludge (soft solids) which block the fuel distribution systems and filters.

If the microbial growth is quite widespread, it can even cause acidity which corrodes the fuel systems and storage tanks, making fuel degradation worse and increasing the probability of fuel oxidation.

By removing water from diesel fuels, you modify the environment to remove any microbial growth and keep your system operating at maximum efficiency.

DIESEL DECONTAMINATION SOLUTIONS

The first priority when it comes to fuel filtration is to remove the particles. When your engine is exposed to contaminated fuels, you risk blocking your integrated particulate filters and Water/Fuel separation systems, putting the equipment in alarm mode, creating damage, breakages and causing a major headache!

The most efficient way to clean diesel is to filter the particles upstream using high performance filter elements and then treat the water. With an efficient filtration of particles, the coalescence technology, which is present in all the systems listed below, removes any free water and emulsifies up to the saturation point in a single pass.

Luckily for you, our diesel treatment systems combine an outstanding particle filtration and water removal in one system allowing you to focus on the work at hand and forget about contamination.

While hydraulic systems and lubrication systems may have offline filtration loops, Diesel applications are based on a consumption which means that the best option is to condition the fuel which is transferred to and from the storage tanks, daily tanks and tankers.

These transition points offer the best opportunity for contamination to be introduced into the diesel fuels. Ideally, the implementation of filtration at each step of the distribution and the removal of possible input sources will help you get rid of contamination in your fuels. Your equipment will operate more efficiently.

CSD (Diesel Coalesce Non-Powered Filtration System)

Ideal for supply depots in the construction field, the tanks and Common Rail fuel applications which already have a filtration system installed, the CSD diesel coalescence systems efficiently remove water in a single pass up to 50 ppm.

Combined with your system and its existing flow, CSD systems provide an incredible amount of flexibility for the installation and allow you to filter the fuels which are distributed.

COD (Diesel conditioning system)

The COD systems provide the complete conditioning of diesels to remove particles, water and bacteria contamination from fuels.

These systems are proposed as an offline or on-line loop (CODX) for conditioning, the COD systems use high capacity filter elements (validated as per the DFE test) to remove particles with outstanding efficiency upstream of the Coalescence treatment, providing you with clean and dry fuels and as such, protecting your injectors. Standard models can sized up to 2300 L/min to operate with diesel turbines.

Can be sized up to 600 gpm (2271L/min) to operate with diesel turbines or up to 20L/min for smaller diesel tanks.

FSLCOD (Compact diesel coalescing filtration system)

A smaller and more compact alternative to large COD systems, the FSLCOD systems have a more compact design for marine applications and any application with size restrictions.

FCLCOD (Diesel Conditioning Filter Cart)

For applications requiring filtration in the field, the FCLCOD diesel conditioning filter carts offer the same unrivalled filtration capacities as the COD and FSLCOD in a mobile platform designed for installations and tanks with several diesel storage sites.
